Fabric testing and certification
The importance of fabrics used in protective garments cannot be underrated. That's why every Sioen PRO fabric has been carefully selected by our product managers and thoroughly tested in both external testing facilities as well as our own in-house test laboratory.
Moreover, in order to obtain a certain certification, requirements are set both for design and fabric of the protective garment. Multinorm fabrics help protect you against high risks such as flames, heath, static electricity build-up, chemical splashes and electric arc explosions. Therefore, it's only logic they pass rigorous testing and meet the highest standards.
Sustainability in fabrics
We prioritise fabrics that combine safety performance with environmental responsibility. Examples include Tencel™ Lyocell, a 100% bio-cellulose fibre from sustainably sourced wood, and Repreve® polyester, made entirely from recycled plastics. By integrating such materials into our multinorm PPE, we lower our ecological footprint without compromising on wearer safety.
Also, Sioen PRO applies OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 throughout various product ranges, guaranteeing that the fabrics have been tested for harmful substances and proven completely harmless to human health.
